So hello there I guess!

Since this is my first blog post on Pretty Objections I'm not too sure how many people will be reading this but I have to start somewhere right?

So I'll start with an introduction- I'm Claudia, I'm 17 and from a village in East Yorkshire, just outside Hull. I'm currently studying at a sixth form college and am just about to embark on my final year and go through the second half of the Hell that they call A-Levels (ok slight exaggeration but only slight). Next year I'm hoping to study fashion marketing at university, although I'm not entirely sure which one just yet; I should have decided soon though...hopefully.

I decided to set up this blog because I've loved reading style and beauty blogs for quite a few years now and thought it would be a fun way to document my life over the next year and a good place to escape school work and focus on my true interests, which, as my uni course choice kind of gives away, is fashion!

So if you're still reading, thank you, because that was awfully rambly (is that a word?!) but without further ado, onto the outfit! I wore this a few days ago, trying to take advantage of the little amount of sun that we have left. Looking out my window now at the grey clouds that have being staring back at me all day, these pictures seem almost a distant memory which is a little sad. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a September heatwave!

The top I'm wearing is French Connection, and just to give you a little more background information, French Connection is also where I work part time when I'm not at school. Anyway as soon as this top came into store a while ago I instantly fell in love with it- I'm a sucker for a loose peplum. I also got the dress version which is baby pink and features a drop waist skirt (I'll definitely show you all at some point). I love the fabric, its a kind of soft crepe and it feels lovely and cool in the sun. Since we've now got the autumn winter collection into work I've been able to wear this in my day to day life abit more too which has been nice! I wore it with shorts in a vain attempt to show off the dwindling tan I have left from my holiday to Nice earlier in the summer, although I think I may have to break out abit of the gradual tan moisturiser soon but hey ho, I've had a good run!

So I think that's it for now! If you have managed to get to the end of this post well done and I promise in future I will try to be more concise, although concise isn't usually my strong point!

Bye for now,

Claudia x
